Overview

Created alongside the Water Is Life campaign, this project marked my first exploration into physically based fluid simulation inside Blender. Inspired by premium beverage advertisements, I focused on recreating realistic water behavior, glass refraction, and commercial-style lighting. The finished simulation became a key visual element within the final campaign while also helping me develop fluid assets later integrated into Unreal Engine.

My Role

Director • Simulation Artist • Lighting Artist • Rendering • Video Editor

Tools Used

Blender • Adobe After Effects • Adobe Premiere Pro • Unreal Engine (integration)

I began by researching fluid physics before learning Blender's fluid simulation system from the ground up. After developing believable water motion and splash behavior, I refined viscosity, glass materials, HDRI lighting, and reflections to achieve a premium product-commercial aesthetic. The completed renders were integrated into Unreal Engine and later composited into the final Water Is Life commercial.
