Located near my hometown, Pigeon Point Lighthouse became one of my favorite personal aerial projects after an unexpected weather window created a dramatic natural scene. As a storm cleared, sunlight briefly illuminated only the lighthouse while dark clouds, crashing waves, and heavy weather surrounded the coastline. That contrast between darkness and light became the inspiration for the entire visual. Rather than documenting the landmark itself, I focused on capturing an emotional atmosphere that highlighted the power and beauty of the landscape.
